    He excluded Smartphones because Apple (who donated to his campaign) asked for it, I think they’ve realized they could just straight up ask him to tariff their competition away.

      What competition does Apple have that still has a tariff? I’m a little surprised he didn’t just come out and EO a program where any company that contributes X amount of dollars is exempt. Make Samsung pay also.

    On Monday, Sony announced that it was increasing the price of its flagship games console, the PlayStation 5, by about 10% in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, citing a “challenging economic environment”, inflation and fluctuating exchange rates. It did not announce price rises in the United States.

    We call this a “just try to stop us” surcharge.

    Its obvious here. He threatens corporations who dont submit to the regime. If you play ball then he undoes it. This is all consolidation of his illusion of power. I say illusionn because these people live in a state of Mind that most of us will fortunately never experience. .
