    Low strength are somewhat frequent in the area, but often anecdotal. I usually vacation in the area, and they often just involve broken glassware that falls from shelves. A few larger ones have happened, but often the casualties are in the tens or less.

    I slept through one a few years ago.

    Is there another Almeria? It’s so weird for people to go “Paris France” well of course Paris is in France duh

      I wasn’t sure if people would immediately recognize Almería to be in Spain, as it is a city with about 200k inhabitants.

      There’s probably 2-3 Paris in the US.

      Same thing happens with Latin America and Spain. There’s maybe an Almería in America.
