This is more accurate than I like to admit.
TIL you can have animations in Lemmy’s web client. Is there are a trick to it?
I found, when posting GIFs, it works best with Jerboa. Some others seem to convert the file and lose the animation.
I think it now is able to load animated gifs, or you can link directly to it in the post
