Nah, it’s greed that will do that. Apathy is just a symptom for people that feel like they can’t do anything against the greediest bastards. And it’s also pushed as a control system to be able to get even more by those.

That and our exceedingly obnoxious self importance as a species. We think we own the Earth, but we actually just live here, and we’re gonna find out real soon how fun it is when nature decides our climate is no longer stable.

The ruling class of America have gone so far past hubris they are touching on surquedry.

Would be a shame if some sort of Greek tragedy would unfold.

I just had a third package stolen out of my mailbox in a month. I don’t usually feel this way, but your post speaks to me. Can I move to another country yet?

        Oh no! Let’s not, please.

I think I’m over the apathy… It was actually sadness and overwhelm that I wasn’t processing. I’m back.

Glad to have you back! I recommend you pet a duck to gain a little happiness. Why a duck? Because there’s tutorials on how to catch one safely. Enjoy!

Trying to catch a baby duck is like trying to hold water, or happiness, in your hands. They seem to be Schrodingers ducks for how rapidly and unexpectedly they move.

And an adult duck? They sometimes pet you back! I kept ducks for a while and one would regularly preen my fingers as though they were feathers.

            Ducks can be happiness.

The apathy will come from the meanlessness of being subservient to to the heartless business of nations.

I don’t want to feel anything but human and feeling human seems to be what they want you to denie and escape from.

I agree. However, it’s important to point out that the apathy has been manufactured by those with the wealth and power to benefit from it in the short term.
