If the headline didn’t end with “Kremlin Says”, I’d be much more concerned.
As declarations of war go it’s not much, but it’s more then Ukraine got when they occupied Crimea.
What’s the point of doing this? Surely they don’t really want NATO to join in? Are they just saying it to justify all their losses and that their economy is failing?
It’s propaganda aimed at a domestic audience to explain the hardships resulting from the war, and at Putin bootlickers abroad to prop up the innocent victim narrative.
Peskov, is Nato at war or is it only “obviously” de facto at war? What is it?
Putin sure is concerned that the Russian people are busy with external enemies.
