That’s it, we’re moving to Syria.

That’s it, we’re moving to Syria.
I agree with all of that in its entirety, the world was a much different and considerably smaller place.
To play devil’s advocate though, there is potential for the right person or persons to harness social media to draw historical attention to one. I don’t think this will happen, and it would turn into a giant mess of a media shitstorm, but it is an interesting idea to think about.
There are some pretty big ones that did work though. The Women’s Suffrage movement in the US successfully used a hunger strike to force Woodrow Wilson’s hand and he was put in a position where he had no choice but to cave to the movement.

It’s been largely forgotten that the Russian invasion at the start was an absolute diaaster, and their entire armed forces literally broke down on a road for like a month. The entire Russian empire could have been knee capped for generations right there if just one nation had bombed that road.

I’m American and I agree that nothing short of a catastrophic collapse is going to solve our own problems domestically, as well as put a stop to the laundry list of horrors we commit abroad.
Are you European or American?

Yes, you have air traffic control command them to land. If they don’t, you escort them down with jet fighters. All that has occurred here is the ICC has shown that warrants can be situationally worthless.
Yes, you risk starting a war if you arrest a war criminal. That sucks. But that doesn’t mean you ignore the warrant for fear of consequence. Now our fucking idiot president here gets a huge, very unneeded ego injection knowing European powers are afraid to arrest criminals going to speak to a convicted felon.
What if they wage an ineffective war that still kills millions despite them losing because their delusional leader wants his name in the history books before he dies?
