If they were actually released, would you actually trust anything this regime produces?

That somewhat cartoonish skull-and-crossbones is specifically the symbol worn by, among some others, the nazis who operated the extermination camps.

That he wasn’t left enough wasn’t the criticism, and you know that. The criticism was specifically that there is reasonable doubt that the guy is a cryptofascist.

looks like I hit the nail on his character
if thats really what you think this looks like then your discernment is… unreliable

im not missing the point of ‘blame the Palestinian genocide on netanyahu.’ im intentionally dismissing that point, after considering the merits presented. i decline the opportunity to ignore the broad social support within israel for the genocide in the name of “pettyfogging semantics” forsooth; words have meanings. (edit: and not incidentally, with which words’ meaning do you say i am playing semantics?)
editing your comment to state your intention not to bother replying doesn’t count as not bothering replying.

genocidal ethnic cleansing has been going on since the ‘founding’ of israel. if you say “hitler did the holocaust,” that’s true but not the complete truth, it misses all those key supporters who enthusiastically participated and without whose support the holocaust could not have taken place. placing the responsibility for a campaign of genocide enacted and supported by the political will of an entire nation onto the shoulders of a single scapegoat robs people of their agency and thereby tends to legitimize “just following bibi’s orders” as a defense. you didn’t mean to “perfect is the enemy of good” your way into the nuremburg defense did you? surely you must have had another direction in mind for scapegoating an entire genocide.
edit: also I’m pretty sure my aphorism was novel, or at least rare, not trite. see if you can come up with where it’s been said before since you say it’s trite. i tried.
edit: i found it. “a king does not enact his own will” is basically a summary of this video. pretty sure that’s where i got it. you decide if it’s trite.

perverse intentions?

16 hours after posting it I am editing this post (as well as the two other cross-posts I made of it) to link to MIT’s page about the study instead.
Better late than never. Good catch.

hes rite u no

my original comment before editing read something like “they specifically asked chatgpt not to produce bomb manuals when they trained it” but i didn’t want people to think I was anthropomorphizing the llm.

hey that’s pretty fuckin good lol

well, yes, but the point is they specifically trained chatgpt not to produce bomb manuals when asked. or thought they did; evidently that’s not what they actually did. like, you can probably find people convincing other people to kill themselves on 4chan, but we don’t want chatgpt offering assistance writing a suicide note, right?

when the trump admin is identical to the us federal govt, there will be no doubt about the matter.

Who is looking this man in the eye and calling him a liar, in public? Who is actually calling him on his bullshit, to his face?
ew, botposting
