We do call it that in German as well, I mean, not colloquially, but it’s used in literature or poetry.

Literally dodged a bullet there either way.

Imagine living in a country with 900+ billionaires, with growing tendency, where regular people are discussing about the best ways not to starve.

Maybe, I can’t really comment on what she did or “deserves” for it. I just know she made some transphobic remarks in the past, which is messed up. But there’s still a difference between someone with a twisted world view and Trump/Putin who actually incarcerate and sponsor torture of people.
However, the discussion was on whether something is “harmful” or not and you may actually argue that her BS doesn’t physically “harm” anyone either, if you try to make that point.

Not trying to defend her at all, but I seriously doubt those are actual examples of the things being said and even if, all of this would cause a regular person psychological distress (or “harm”, even if not physical).
I don’t know how Bulesky’s TOS are worded exactly, but it feels a bit like that whole “Guns don’t kill people, I kill people. With guns.” motif.
The singer of Chthonic, a Taiwanese metal band, explained this briefly in an acoustic live recording. You do have to watch out which tone you choose exactly, otherwise the meaning can change drastically. I also think this is part of the “sound” that you get in these cultures.
