I worked fast food for a while. Sometimes we were so busy and understaffed that things became very hectic very quick. More than once, I forgot the meat on a hamburger order.

I can understand, from the employee perspective, how this could happen. It’s very doubtful it was purposeful.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a McDonalds franchise fully staffed. They don’t get enough business to have that many employees, but you can be sure they get enough business that it’s too much for the employees they do have on staff when a rush comes.

In the US men (and I think women now?) are required to sign up for the draft at age 18. You’re given a card confirming you’ve signed up.

Unfortunately when the vehicle in question is created by a company owned by a man operating a government agency, it’s a valid question. He could have just never made the video, but making one that directly opposes the narrative of people you’d expect the “camera man’s” political affiliation to be seems unusual.

Think of how many things around you are made of plastic. What about critical pieces of things like airplanes? What would you replace that with to prevent the bacteria from causing damage to them?

I could probably pick a few things on my desk right now that would be much more difficult and much more costly to produce with other materials.
