They’re trying Google Glass again?

Half-Life: Alyx came out 5 years ago…

Marketing team: “There must be some combination of colors and letters that will make our brand a smash hit. We just need to find them!”

Horror has always been a source of social commentary, though. Going all the way back to at least Frankenstein, published in 1818.

I’m running mine in Alpine.

Wong says the team’s new vaccine could also provide protection against coronaviruses that cause influenza and the common cold.
Ugh science reporting is terrible. “This new tool could stop the cockroaches that cause bedbugs.” See how stupid that sounds?
Influenza is caused by influenza viruses.

Yep. Thankfully we’re nearly… 4% into his term? Oh yeah, we’re fucked.

And it’s not like the tariffs were a bait and switch. Trump literally had them in his platform.
In fact, all the crap he’s been pulling was in his platform. He’s doing exactly what he promised he would do, and half the country was like, “Maybe this isn’t a good idea” and the other half enthusiastically voted him and then are shocked he’s doing exactly what he said he would do.
This is like the time the UK voted for Brexit and then became shocked when Brexit happened.

Is this surprising? The prices were always going to adjust to the market. Any new cheap thing that undercuts the market will eventually become the market as it becomes mainstream, and prices will be increased to what the market will bear to maximize profits.
I didn’t say it was HL3. I replied to a post implying the series hasn’t had an update in 20 years.
It’d be like a Star Wars fan wondering why there’s buzz about the movie coming out next year despite it being 42 years since Return of the Jedi. And the answer is that even if that’s the last one that particular fan personally cared about, there has been Star Wars media since then.
Also, Alyx did resolve the HL2E2 ending. It didn’t add a whole lot on past that, but the cliffhanger was very much addressed.
