Almost two years of non stop video.

Almost two years of non stop video.

Break it, privatize it, squeeze for every penny. That’s their business.

Fast, cheap, good. They’re going for 1 out of 3.

He’s expecting everybody to kowtow and afterwards do everything he says to receive some of that sweet sweet trade.

Seems like they wanted the web and app version of outlook to work identically. Some things don’t work on the web though, so they decided to cut features on the app until they were the same as web. It’s just such a corporate move.

It has a heavy dose of “what do you mean, reality doesn’t conform to my wishes?” It’s something every autocrat runs into.

I can’t help but think “Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly” with this news

That was always projected for 2101, 2011. But things start to get bad from 2050 on.

“Sorry but I only have video about the construction process. All the cameras I’ve set up got fried when I’ve set this thing off, including the memory cards. It even messed up the magnetic tape in the old school relic we had as a backup. With that out of the way, let’s get into the construction. This episode is sponsored by …”

For cars, you’re gonna need something a bit bigger. Large coil, capacitor bank to generate a static field and some high explosives to disrupt that field to give the pulse. It fries the wires in a car. Single use only.

The finance bros tried that one too. Mortgage-backed security was the magic word. Cut up all the little mortgages, repackage them, and sell for profit. Then it all crashed down in 2008.

“can’t complain”
That would never work around here. We complain about everything. And then we’ll complain how much everybody is complaining. Our happy state is complaining.

According to the other comments, they ask “How are you?” ans the response is “eVeRyThInG Is gReAt” and this gets written down as a 5/5 on the happiness scale.

but I think vr at this point has become an expensive novelty
Always has been. I went to demonstrations of this tech in the nineties when I was in college. It was going to be the next big thing. That never happened. It seems to come back every few years and then fade out again.

USA as it is now would support the Germans because the president really admires their leader and how they got rid of the immigrants.

Yes, what’s up with that? Couldn’t USA find a peaceful solution back then? But no, they had to invade. Its like they didn’t want peace. /s

“The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born; now is the time of monsters.” ~Antonio Gramsci
I think this captures the state of the world pretty well. The traditional values, the leaders of the world order as we know it are decaying. Nobody has any idea where things are headed. In the meantime all kind of figures crawl from under their rock to party and grab whatever they can

Depends on the strain, but up to 75% of birds die from it. But once you have one sick chicken, it spreads rapidly to ask others and very often to neighbors a few miles away by wild animals. To keep it from spreading quickly over the entire country, every chicken within a few miles is culled as standard practice if bird flu is found.
There are a lot of regions that are put into the wrong time zone, because that’s easier for business. They’re not even close to 12:00 being the middle of the day especially during DST.
