£7.50 for a flight? That’s insane! I’d be going on vacation once a month if I could score a single flight for even 10x that.

He has so much money he could lose a billion dollars every month and still have billions left in 2055.

Maybe they’re just getting people to pre pay for their own detention/deportation.

If that’s what the articles are implying, then it’s safe to say you’re implying you don’t care because they’re Mexican.

I always see this stereotype but it must be a regional/American thing. In my part of Canada at least that stereotype would apply to Dodge, more specifically Dodge Journeys.

The American government has already shown they’re happy to round up people who look like "foreign enemies"whether they are or not. If your enemy has almost the exact same demographics, all of a sudden there’s probable cause to detain anyone (I know, it’s not like they care about any due process but everything else feels like we’re in make believe land anyways).

Growth is doing a lot of work in that sentence. I’m not debating the actual numbers of each of these countries, but if 50% of your population is obese it’s practically impossible to double while if it’s 10% doubling isn’t that crazy.

I’m in Canada and recently our food banks (at least in my area) have been getting huge donations of all the unsold American produce.

Trump administration has frequently sparred with South Africa over legacy of apartheid
If I’m understanding this correctly the Americans’ issue is that they only have a legacy of apartheid and don’t continue it?

I wish more people would understand this perspective. Americans might be picking a fight with the whole world, but the rest of the world only has to worry about 1 country picking a fight with them.

As a resident of the Canadian portion of Cascadia I’d be in favour of a European style union of your former states and Canada. Unfortunately you’re too big and too American (for lack of a better term) heavily armed [found it] to just let you in. Maybe we could handle Hawaii but I’m sure they’d probably rather be their own country than join us which is totally fair.

The way things are going , do you think the American constitution will mean anything by 2028?

I do secretly wonder why it’s not Canadian Tyre.
Because in the same way we are not American, we are not British.
Curious to know if US plates on a car in Canada generate a negative response nowadays.
Depends on if you’re talking an American negative response or a Canadian negative response. I don’t imagine you’d be getting flipped off or have stuff thrown at you but you may not have people stop to let you back out of a parking spot or let you out of a driveway in busy traffic.

Maybe they’re factoring in all the job losses, if someone can’t afford to buy food at all they won’t be paying any tariffs.

Is there any other country that has isolated themselves from as many possible allies in recent history? North Korea is at the very least tolerated by China and Russia, who does the US still have positive relations with? Maybe Israel?

Wow, $2.01CAD/L that’s actually slightly higher than our notoriously high BC prices. I was assuming it would be something like $1CAD/L which is a low price we’d dream of here.

Isn’t Canada donating seized Russian assets to the Ukrainian war effort?

We’d always have been offended, just now we’re more likely to be “immediate punch to the face” offended.

I hadn’t thought of it that way before but I think you nailed it. History won’t care who you voted for.
Ahh yes, famously warm Wisconsin.
