I like the oldschool way of tar, rsync and cron

Same here. I have KeePass database set to read only by default on my phone. I can override this but it minimizes the risk of conflict and I add new passwords on my desktop most of the time.

Esperanto, sunken into it’s chair, slumbering, raises it’s head

They’re all crowded though and try to sell stuff you don’t need. But everyone knows that. :)

Your apathy and mental phlegm makes me furious. We don’t “go extinct”, billions and billions of sentient beings will suffer greatly for centuries to come because of it. More so with every bit of warming we are adding or preventing. It’s far from over, this is barely beginning. So stop this doomer bullshit and take responsibility for your life and your actions.

Use DietPi, it’s a great OS

Ich würde auch nie behaupten, dass alle Veganis immer die Wahrheit sagen. Aber welche Misinfo meinst du denn genau? Über Lab-Statistiken weiß ich nichts, steht das da auf der Seite?

NOT M!LK :)

Plants have feelings too
No, they do not. There is no serious study to suggest that they do. Plants do not have a brain or central nervous system. At most, they respond to stimuli. If you really care that much about the welfare of plants, you should go vegan, since many more plants “die” for animal feeding. Do you feel bad while mowing your lawn? And would you rather rescue a potted plant than a dog from a burning house? Is docking pig tails the same as branch trimming to you? Question upon question…
Edit: Getting downvoted for scientific facts.

Just a couple of years after the generation that lived through WWII died, people are going authoritarian again. Are we really in for another round of bashing our skulls in to solve complex problems? It’s hard to not get bitter.

Wero went from “never heard of it” to “it’s already on my phone!?” to first transaction in like half a year. Now I found out that you can set an email address for transactions, just like PayPal. That’s a great option, I thought you had to use you phone number.

I was fiddeling with my Raspberry Pi 4 but decided to buy a refurbished Dell Wyse Thin Client 5070. It cost like 70€, I put DietPi on it because I love it, plugged an external drive and I’m very happy with the experience.

Don’t feed the troll

Renewables are going so hard, it’s not even a competition anymore

Synching is incredibly useful, my list of synced folders keeps getting longer, my list of added devices keeps growing. I pray the never drop android support!

I again want to recommend DietPi. Installing software like NextCloud from it is as easy as choosing it from a menu and hitting enter.
I went back from SherpaTTS to eSpeak because I liked the robot woman better. She’s easy to understand, takes up 5 mb on my phone and it’s a fun conversation starter.
