

I think they are trying to exaggerate how very outdated some Windows UI elements look (primarily dialog boxes?). I doubt they would use a 95 theme on an OS that’s hard to theme and annoying to use.

I did that a few times, it was worst when the character name was just a standard name with one letter difference from the player’s real name. I only found out that I had gotten the two confused after I looked more closely at the sheet a week of talking every day.


That hope can also be a good reason not to do those things to be fair.

It sounds bad though and it makes me think of subscriptions which are what a subgroup of communities unique to each user.
I have to remember that each time though it’s happening quite often now.
I try to let people know gently that they are using the wrong term, which I think is reasonable though I suppose my tone might be misinterpreted.
