That is literally how AI chatbots are customised.

Technically it does. Engines are usually less optimized for driving 30 compared to 50, which causes them to use more fuel for the same distance.

But a slightly higher fuel consumption is easily offset by reduced noise and increased safety (for everyone).

He has always had the tendency to overhype his games by a lot. But while he just burned money for over a decade now, he has created some pretty good games before that (Dungeon Keeper, Black and White, the Fable series).

A great example of why football pitches are used. People cannot visualize an area of 1500 km², because nobody has ever seen such an area while being aware/told that that is the size of said area.

Most people in Europe knows roughly how large a football pitch is, and might even be able to visualize an area covered by 600 of those.

Although I guess “4km²/day” isn’t that bad to visualize either.

The biggest lobby pushing this is companies like Thorn, who promise to provide (I.e. sell) the technology required to comply with such a law. It’s literally just a business investment for them.

I’m fairly confident that this could be solved by better trained and configured chatbots. Maybe as a supplementary device between in-person therapy sessions, too.

I’m also very confident that there’ll be lot of harm done until we get to that point. And probably after (for the sake of maximizing profits) unless there’s a ton of regulation and oversight.

That’s the correct plural of email though. Unless you talk about the technology itself, “email” is the equivalent of “letter”, not “mail”.

Offshore wind is a fraction of the cost, with none of the downsides of nuclear (getting fuel and getting rid of fuel). And the UK is literally surrounded by seas.

The claim seems really stupid, but I wanted to get some more information about wind speed reductions caused by turbines. I found this article that explicitly mentions the North Sea:

Researchers at Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) have studied the wind speed reduction effect in large wind farms along the North Sea coast. The result? The wind blows more slowly for up to 70 kilometres behind the offshore wind farms.

That is a fairly long distance, which does require a bit of coordination close to the borders, but nothing more.

Small correction: the NPD was not banned because they were largely irrelevant. They had little to no influence on politics, which is why the court argued that a ban would be inappropriate.

To be fair, this is most likely because the pope is not well at all. It wasn’t even clear if he would be able to give the traditional easter blessing himself, which is significantly higher in the Vatican’s priority list than a meeting with the US second in line of succession.

People tend to underestimate the need for speaking German in Germany though. Depending on your location and social circle, you might not need much of it day to day. That sounds like a reasonable amount of nukes. If the threat of losing one or two major cities isn’t deterrent enough, were in absolute lunatic territory anyways, and no amount of more nukes will deter any further.

One thing Amazon is better at (at least here in Germany) is free shipping. But seeing how that is a least partially responsible for creating a cutthroat delivery market, where companies contract out delivery work to barely self-employed drivers for barely any money, paying for shipping doesn’t seem like a bad idea (even though I know the drivers won’t really see any of that money in the end)
