The US is now post-parody.

The US is now post-parody.

Civilian aircraft can also turn off their transponders, not that it’s relevant.
ATC not having radar is not an issue, the US military most certainly had multiple radars in range. They could tell the tanker to divert way earlier. They wanted an incident.
As for normalcy, the US is part of a small group of countries that has shot down civilian airliners.

Taiwan claims sovereignty over mainland China, I doubt Venezuela does the same with the US.

I agree that Play integrity is a huge problem and a way for Google to maintain control of Android.
However a Linux phone wouldn’t solve that at least in the beginning.
The devs who don’t allow apps to run on devices that do not pass Play integrity are unlikely to make a Linux phone app.

That does not make sense. Even in the worse scenarios Android would be more open than Apple and there would be Android options unaffected by this. Not many and not the most mainstream, though certainly more so than non-Android Linux phones.
But compared to a picking a non-Android Linux phone it makes even less sense. Unfortunately it’s true.

Unfortunatel, even here on Lemmy, that is a not techier/fossier than the mainstream, a lot of people say they will switch to… IOS.

Let me guess, we’re I Danish (or when this shit spreads to my country) I would have identify my accounts to the government and or corporations.

They didn’t kill them all in 1945 you know.
You are going to protest that they 've learned from that. They just learned not to say the word Nazi just like they learned not to oppose Jews instead of opposing genocide.

Well I had the displeasure of having to use a candybar style phone my mother was using cause it was ‘easier’ for her.
But in my case, I disagree with the base premise of this post. The biggest anxiety and distraction caused by my phone is via phone calls. Asynchronous communications like sms and email are much better for me.

Probably he also doesn’t like black people.
Does that work on the Mars colony as well?

Yes, you probably haven’t. If an entity or person does not have a presence in a country it should not be subject to those laws. Their home country should reject enforcing any penalties or extraditing their citizen. Of course the US is the most notorious and more successful in getting people that never had any meaningful relation to the US extradited.
I also don’t think the UK or an EU nation’s court should be able to try a case against a US government agency, say the FDA because they do not follow the same standards. Or even against ICE agents because they abduct people.
Democratic countries should be able to have their own laws even if larger countries disagree with them.
Do you seriously think 4chan is in danger of having the fines collected? They are just right wingers trying to spur the US government into blackmailing the UK into changing their laws to align with US sensibilities and ‘values’. Fuck that.

Fuck the censorship but a non-US government should not be tried in a US court.

Does this include the Russian military?
What about indirect stuff such as “The Ukrainians should crush the Russian invaders” ?

Because creating a new language, “European”, is going to be perceived as an attack on their identity by a lot of people. It fundamentally changes what “European” means.
Using English or French can be tolerated as a practicality that predates the EU.

I very never heard anyone discussing this in real life outside of maybe 6 days a year. Much less so since smartphones became people’s primary clocks since they auto adjust.
People also don’t agree on which time should be kept.

We’re removing the bypassnro.cmd script from the build to enhance security and user experience of Windows 11. This change ensures that all users exit setup with internet connectivity and a Microsoft Account.
Any windows fanboy cares to explain how this supposedly enhances a user’s security?
The spin on requiring an internet connection being phrased as ‘ensures all users exit setup with internet connectivity’ is amazing too.
Saying the quiet part aloud, just like Donald.
