Yes I understand and would not discourage voting. Its currently the only way to have any influence at all. Whole system needs to be turned over for anything to meaningfully change; vote as much as possible and get thoroughly educated, just don’t expect politicians to do anything helpful when they’re already owned by money.
The sooner every American realizes that there is NO ONE in the government with the desire and the power to help us, the better.
Edit: VOTE and be educated, but don’t expect anyone therein to be accountable and reponsible. Get ANGRY about that.
Oh my, yes, you are correct. That was sort of knee jerk, as opposed to it being the reporting party’s burden somehow. I simply cannot understand the legal gymnastics needed to punish your customers for this sort of thing; I’m tired but I feel like this is not exactly an uncommon occurrence. Anyways let us all learn from my mistake and do not be rash and curtail your own freedoms.
So in a just world, google would be heavily penalized for not only allowing csam on their servers, but also for violating their own tos with a customer?

This really seems like the church doing PR: was a good pious rich kid and used social media to proselytize, then a couple people prayed to him and claimed to be healed (what he is being canonized for). And when I looked for controversy around it I just found some extreme dark-age type Catholics who are even more self-subsumed than most.
Thousands years old religions just don’t work without asking for extreme delusion. I like that church etc helps form community and gathers folks, but that’s about it; the message has been lost to all but a few.

Yep, noscript on firefox has been available for like 15 years. And it certainly does “break” some sites as it blocks scripts by default. It can be a pain, though I consider it the safest way
After recoiling in horror and delving in, it does appear that they have stopped using this test as of January this year (search: Denmark FKU). I don’t know if this woman has gotten her children back but its clear a lot of damage has been done already. Yea it seems like a lot people don’t want to face the fact that US politics are a theatre drama. And of course they also presume that you’re implying that means one shouldn’t vote, indeed a dangeous (and irritating) assumption. I believe one should vote based on a politicians actions and character, and try to notice when they’re bought and performing. The preponderance of evidence that anyone with any power is bought out is defeaning.
