In Brazil every expense that is required by law just keeps getting paid, whether there’s a budget or not.

We spent 4 months this year without a budget due to neither house agreeing with each other and none agreeing wit the Executive. Almost nobody noticed, it didn’t even make it into news.

He may have discovered that the US can’t stay rich by isolating themselves. But he has been praising countries that are mostly economic competitors, instead of customers or suppliers. I don’t understand how he thinks.

My best guess is that the text is a misrepresentation, because Trump’s speech was completely focused on exterminating people inside the US borders. But without that context, yes, looks like it’s about every other country.

Brazilian tariffs are actually smaller than the ones the US imposed. The reason you can’t find anything below 190% of the original price isn’t just the tariffs.

They just had the largest protest in their history, have a handful of cities under military intervention to stop the protests, and are close to elect somebody that promises to fight against the federal government as mayor of their largest city.

No one can cut off the US oil supply.
