All the idiots.

All the idiots.

It’s not a requirement per se, but people without social skills make contact with others harder. The proliferation of online “meeting places” lead to the degradation of social skills that is then making people connect more difficult, making everyone lonelier.
In my opinion at least.

People nowadays seem to forget that socialising is a skill. And to learn a skill one must learn by putting effort into and initially failing a lot.
Social platforms give the sensation of allowing one to skip this by jumping straight into ongoing conversations for a brief post, but that’s also not building any social skill.

You’ve got nothing on the average dwarf fortress searches. Mermaid children bone farming ftw.

There are a lot of good Americans out there who are still our friends and allies.
Yeah, approx 30% of them.

If they really believe this and they aren’t just putting up a mask for the sake of diplomacy, then they are idiots. US is ruled by a moscovite asset, and burning down Taiwan would benefit them by weakening the west.

If the passkeys aren’t managed by your devices fully offline then you’re just deeper into being hostage to a corporation.

The feeling I get is his opposition/hate of the western world leaves him no room for nuance. Ukraine is helped by the west to defend against Russia = Ukriane has to be wrongand Russia has to be right.
Realising this also makes me question a lot about him, to be honest…

According to Chomsky, Russia is acting with restraint and moderation. He compares Russia’s way of fighting with the US’s during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, arguing that large-scale destruction of infrastructure seen in that conflict “hasn’t happened in Ukraine”.
Seems very unambiguous to me.

He died to me the day he stood with Putin and the invasion against Ukraine.

Supply and demand.
If there’s less supply of workforce, workers are in a better position to demand better conditions or wages. Oversupply of workforce gives employers more power in turn.
More immigrants - or anything that balloons the workforce - helps the side of employers, even without considering the fact that most immigrants are satisfied with worse conditions and/or lower pay than western workers.
Going publicly traded fucks every company up with nextquarter-itis.

Hum , weird. Either I charge it rarely enough that I’m fooling myself, or I turned off some off some features garmin didn’t think people would…

Depends on the model and your settings I guess. I use a Fenix5, and it lasts like 18-20 days with a run every second day (tho I keep pulse ox off). Could be more if I had gotten a solar one, but those were pricey back when I got mine…

Garmins (or most of them) also last for a month with a single charge, unlike most smart watches. For me that’s worth a little premium.
Hey, I could at least observe superconductors at home!
