The issue with this is was not created publicly. We don’t know what kind of data is being uses to determine someone’s status. If someone is private enough to not have any data collected by its source, then they could be denied voting rights despite being legally able to vote.

It also could end up bring used as the sole source for verifying someone’s status, despite having documents to prove otherwise.

It would be the largest cost cutting measure, but the ruling class won’t allow it.

I’m not happy with how Mozilla leadership has navigated the ship, but what is the alternative? If Mozilla dies, there isn’t enough funding for one of the forks to take over the browser.

Couldn’t agree more. I use both tools as they have their place, but when I want a search engine, I don’t want to get an AI answer for the result. Like if I’m searching for documentation on something, what benefit would the AI provide me over just giving the link?
