Don’t give me hope.
I’ll write something here later probably. In the meantime, hi to whoever’s reading this I hope you get a chance to enjoy something kind today :)

Don’t give me hope.

Bold of you to assume people weren’t stupid enough to aim them at each other for fun before then.

That would explain why adguard’s public DNS started blocking it (labeled vaguely as “legal request”).

Welp time to go grab a beer so I can toast to this! That is a kickass win.

Comic series have a multiverse for precisely that reason - wide distribution and high content output dont usually happen with just one author, and keeping the story details consistent and simultaneously fresh isn’t practical.

We would also all have our own mini farms and chests upon chests full of weird stuff.
So Usenet was the first fedi site? Reassuring that the concept predates the current paradigm and still has legs, however niche it is atm.

Yeah this is essentially libel and harassment, with threats of vexatious litigation (intentionally bullshit lawsuits) and/or violence.
Maybe? The port setups work fine on the home router (such as accessing Steam link/Sunshine from a TV) but because it’s behind the mandatory AT&T modem it causes some nasty configuration headaches for external access.
This may sound crazy but do you have an AT&T router?
I have not been able to solve it myself yet unfortunately but having two routers has made it impossible for me to use Tailscale/Wireguard/ZeroTier etc. in much the same way as you’re describing.
The devices “see” each other but can’t connect no matter what configuration I follow, what firewall settings I tweak, nothing. I think there’s a pass through problem where UPnP is in conflict.
Sorry I don’t have an answer but I promise you’re not alone in your frustration.

It’s glorious
I totally ate the onion (truthion?) on this showerthought lmao

I am desperately curious about the life that leads up to this question

Plenty of age appropriate “birds and bees” books out there, this is a “packets and pings” one.

I hope they themselves experience exactly what they wish upon poor non-white immigrants.
When I think of a scam, I think a one-off, obviously amateur attempt. An email with awful grammar saying the government will fine me a bajillion dollars if I don’t download a file is a scam. A scam will also leave you alone.
A grift is done by career slimeballs. Used car salesmen, big C-suites and corrupt politicians are grifters. It’s more offensive and more aggressive. You can’t escape a grift.

Fortunately it’s not an allergic reaction, mostly just an intolerance but I appreciate your concern :) /gen

I haven’t eaten red meat in years due to not reacting well to it, glad to see it’s also helping the environment 😄

We probably have different understandings of the word “libertarian,” from what I’m reading.
I’m referring to the people who would also label themselves “anarcho-capitalists,” as the literal definition of libertarianism isn’t typically associated with the term. I put it in quotes since capitalism by design leads to and encourages hierarchy (private ownership etc etc). No, commerce/trade is not the same and is as about as old as written history itself.
I’m also autistic and have been ostracized for “wrong” behavior. When I say “pro social” I mean mutual aid, genuine compassion and actually treating other humans with respect for their immutable traits (beliefs like bigotry don’t count). I do not mean masking or “fitting in.” Unfortunately we do get unfairly judged and that’s bad. But - we also are generally capable of finding and forming our own groups.
Sovereign utopia building as a whole has its own set of issues, but that’s not what was specifically being addressed. Socialist policies in general improve the wellbeing of the respective societies they’re applied to, though.
I have so much admiration for the younger generation for this. Language is powerful and they know it.
