This wouldn’t be much of an issue if most of the laptops nowadays didn’t come with soldered in ram and no options of expanding.

Well, I’ll be damned.
I’ll need to read up on this.

It’s just silly that this is still a thing in almost 2026. It’s so obvious even Hitler banned it, and he was no animal rights activist.

Good enough I guess?
But why spend resources on useless features that nobody asked for and nobody’s going to take advantage of? Instead of, you know, implementing anything that may benefit the users?

The best part is this was intended from the start. The very first proposed name for the European Union was literally United States of Europe.
Then there were several plans to move to a more federal system, but all of them failed, usually due to American interference.

Personally I tried using LLMs for reading error logs and summarizing what’s going on. I can say that even with somewhat complex errors, they were almost always right and very helpful. So basically the general consensus of using them as assistants within a narrow scope.
Though it should also be noted that I only did this at work. While it seems to work well, I think I’d still limit such use in personal projects, since I want to keep learning more, and private projects are generally much more enjoyable to work on.
Another interesting use case I can highlight is using a chatbot as documentation when the actual documentation is horrible. However, this only works within the same ecosystem, so for instance Copilot with MS software. Microsoft definitely trained Copilot on its own stuff and it’s often considerably more helpful than the docs.

This by itself should be enough to have Twitter banned, at least temporarily.
You don’t just get to retaliate for getting fined for breaking the law. That’s how you upgrade a fine to a prison sentence if you’re a regular person.

I wish it was true, but the reality seems to disagree. Trump very much can pardon Putin and anyone else, and will do so if he wants to. The EU may cry, but it will do nothing about it. I’m not one bit happy about this, but that’s just how it is.
Currently, EU leaders consist of the following types of politicians:
Any time Washington wants something, they get it from us. Any time they tell Europe to bend over, it does so, lubricant in hand. Want us to completely illegally seize a Chinese company’s Dutch branch, leading to no benefits and severe sanctions from China? Done, daddy.
It’s a sad state of affairs, but current EU is not prepared to stand up for itself. A combination of US and Russian interference, as well as braindead far-right nationalists have made sure we’re powerless and unable to act on anything significant.
Empires simply cannot tolerate the existence of a place like the EU. It shows their citizens that they don’t have to be slaves and that not every single minute of life has to suck. Which in turn might cause them to protest, and we can’t have that. How many times have you heard the “employment in the USA vs employment in France” memes? Well, the American Empire has found a reliable solution to this issue. Just destroy France, along with all of Europe, and American slaves will stop complaining about shitty work conditions compared to France!

So basically an unofficial colony?

Remember when he was against running for president and even joining the political scene entirely?

Russia conducts special military operations, while the US is fighting terrorism. It’s all the same. Except our media outlets - in the case of my country, mostly American - will only speak about one of the two. Let’s do our best to spread the word more or less evenly.
All empires will fall. They have to. Otherwise there’s no future for humanity.

‘Thought’ implies that they made premeditated, informed decisions out of own free will, and were not manipulated into voting for whatever the media outlet they happened to listen to told them.

If you aim for equality, making separate laws for separate genders is not the solution. This is anything but equality. Especially when there are already laws protecting the groups in question, as part of the entire nation. The problem here is completely different and requires different solutions.

I don’t see how the femicide part makes any sense or difference. There were already the exact same punishments for killing of anyone, so isn’t this essentially copy pasting existing laws but with a specific group highlight? If that’s the case, it will do absolutely nothing.
The second part is fine, though I hope it’s meant for everyone and not just women. I don’t know about Italy specifically, but in many European countries if you fall victim to these crimes as a man, you’ll likely receive no help.
Would be great to see some more protections for everyone, as well as more serious punishments for violations against anyone. Making anything like this gender-specific will just fuel already problematic anti-other-gender sentiment.

NewPipe is fantastic and I encourage everyone to use it if they can, but I can’t really see how it’s related to the topic.

The only country in the world where farmers are going out of business, because nobody can afford food.

Ah, good point. Let’s see if we unmiss it in 2035.

Japanese people are currently protesting against immigration… while having one of the lowest immigrant count as % of population, and solely depending on that for any gain in population. So yeah, Japan isn’t looking to bright right now. But then again, it’s the same country that has been deliberately designing suggestive outfits for schoolgirls for decades. I imagine Japanese and American government officials are good pals.
Will soon begin? My brother in Christ, it’s begun at least 20 years ago.
