If we compare humanity to other species on earth, the year-round horniness without any specific mating seasons is fairly uncommon. There’s not really a good reason to assume that a sentient alien species works the same way.

So to a hypothetical alien civilization, humans probably seem to spend a lot of energy on sex.

I interpret this as a problem statement, so I can think of a few solutions: We accept the dominance of porn culture and launch a quality offensive for porn, or we recognize a lack of asexual culture and launch a quality offensive for ace culture.
